Anais began her career in radio production, acquiring valuable experience by working alongside prominent figures in the industry. From January 2022 to December 2022, she worked as a production assistant at Marketplace, an esteemed public radio program by American Public Media.
In her role at Marketplace, she handled various responsibilities, including researching and pitching interview topics, conducting pre-interviews, and editing audio segments. She crafted scripts for hosts, produced digital content, and collaborated with other producers to develop compelling content, often focusing on same-day interviews and personal audio essays.
Before her full-time engagement, she interned at Marketplace from June to December 2021. During her internship, she assisted in researching and booking guests, writing show rundowns, and editing interview content for broadcasting.
